I reserve the right to age without apology.

In the Expired series, ceramic vessels stand in for the body over time. The works address aging, mortality, endurance, relevance, and use through inscribed text and form. Rather than framing aging as decline, the vessels hold evidence of living, accumulation, damage, and persistence, while acknowledging finitude. Time is registered as something carried and endured, not erased.

I keep the knowledge that all I require is already mine.
I am lucky to have this place in the world.

In Ritual Matter, I work with classical ceramic forms such as urns, vessels, and offering plates. The series emerged from a psychedelic experience and centers on beauty and the garden as metaphor. The work includes gilded garden urns blooming with fungi, offering plates bearing spore prints, and vessels that articulate a held sense of sufficiency and connection.

I hold so much sorrow.
There is no way to make meaning of this.
Men can be brutal.

In Bearing Witness, I work with classical ceramic forms and art historical imagery to address the present. The vessels carry modern language and self representation across surfaces associated with permanence and authority, reframing inherited symbols of power. Text and drawing establish a narrative relationship between the self and the vessel, making history personal rather than distant.
